SOULBODY STUDIO is a robot-apparel studio centered on knitted bionic soft-skin technology. We believe the surface that allows robots to share human spaces should not be limited to cold metal or rigid plastic. It can be flexible, conformal, removable, washable and capable of supporting tactile functions.
Our process combines knitted loop structures, 3D knit engineering and integral shaping. This allows a soft shell to follow joint movement, cover complex geometry and preserve access to sensors, charging ports and thermal zones.
